Adjunct Faculty-Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Instructional Design Leadership Position Type: Part Time

Franklin University, located in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to teach doctoral level courses as part of our Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Instructional Design Leadership.  Courses include Strategic Examination of Trends & Technology, Strategic Assessment & Decision Making, Organizational Learning & Knowledge Management, Course Design, Development & Evaluation, Innovative Learning Environment Design and Instructional Design Leadership, Coaching & Consulting. These 8-week courses will be taught online each term and may possibly also be offered face-to-face on our downtown campus in Columbus, Ohio.
Requirements for these positions include a doctorate in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Instructional Systems Design, Educational Technology or Curriculum and Instruction. A minimum of 3 years' experience is required teaching in higher education or a PK-12 environment, doing instructional design work and serving on dissertation committees. Preference will be given to those who have served as dissertation chairs and have worked with diverse populations fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment. We seek someone able to work in a diverse and fast-paced work environment who can grade comprehensive exams on short notice and is able to serve as a subject matter expert to review dissertations.  Excellent teaching evaluations are also required.
