Job Description:
Ripple is seeking a part-time Accounts Receivable Associate to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable processes and ensuring timely collections from customers. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills and a strong understanding of accounting principles.
Responsibilities:- Generate and send out invoices to customers on a timely basis- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts- Process incoming payments and apply them to the appropriate customer accounts- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies- Communicate with customers to address billing inquiries and resolve billing disputes- Assist in month-end close processes related to accounts receivable- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve billing and collection processes- Provide support for audits and other financial reporting activities
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts receivable or similar role- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Hardworking and reliable with a commitment to achieving results- Demonstrated innovation and problem-solving skills
