Job Description:

Murphy USA is seeking a dedicated and reliable Accounts Receivable Associate to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. As an Associate Level position, we require a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will possess excellent planning and time management skills, along with a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:- Generate and send out invoices to customers- Process incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures- Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve any discrepancies- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy- Prepare aging reports on a regular basis- Assist with month-end closing activities- Maintain accurate records and documentation

Requirements:- 4 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
