Job Description:

TIAA is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Clerk in our Indianapolis office. This part-time entry-level position is perfect for someone with at least 1 year of experience in accounting or finance who is looking to grow their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:- Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate and timely payments- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies- Assist with month-end closing activities- Maintain accurate and organized financial records- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues- Assist with ad hoc duties as needed by the finance team

Requirements:- Motivated and passionate about working in the finance industry- Strong presentation skills and ability to effectively communicate with others- Basic understanding of accounting principles- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software- Organized and detail-oriented- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
