Position Purpose: Responsible for all activities in the accounts payable function, including invoice processing for overhead costs & royalties, as well as manage the full payment process for all Recorded Music invoices under the general supervision of the AP Manager.
What you'll do: Maintain vendor relations and AP disbursements process Ensure proper tax forms are received for vendors and royalty payees Analyze expense reports and overhead invoices for accuracy Oversee routine department activities to ensure that they are completed accurately and on time Organize accurate and complete financial, employee and client records Provide accounting assistance to project managers and operations staff Resolve all payments or billing issues with vendors Monitor daily bank activity and assist in monthly bank reconciliations Perform related ad hoc reporting What you'll need: Full cycle A/P experience Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Expert in a computerized accounting environment Knowledge of ERP system Impeccable organizational skills and attention to details Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask Associate's degree or higher *This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days minimum on-site.
