Accounting Clerk

SIU Credit Union is a financial institution that is for people, not for profit. We are a strong and growing credit union doing business in 24 southern Illinois counties with offices in Carbondale, Marion, Energy, Harrisburg, and Metropolis. We currently have an opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Carbondale, IL.
What you'll do :
Deliver outstanding service to internal and external members.
Process daily member payments.
Process, pay and file invoices.
Research and resolve discrepancies.
Balance designated general ledgers to ensure accuracy.
Assist Accounting with research, balancing, or other procedures as necessary.
What we're looking for: Must have a high school diploma and be bondable.
Financial institution knowledge/experience is helpful but not required.
