Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities Summary: My client is in search of a strong, well-rounded & experienced accountant. This individual will be accountable for:
Prepare/Reconcile bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements. Maintain Balance sheet schedules monthly. Support Cash Flow Model creation & support Run and create commission QB reports Create daily Journal entries Provide assistance and support to company personnel. Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies. Perform expense account analysis. Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas. Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws Special projects or additional duties as assigned. Support all AP & AR functions. Support Reconciliation for ecommerce platforms Assist with Tax preparation. Completing analysis of the employee expenditures Generating the company's financial reports using income and expenditure data Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department. Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records. Experience & Credentials 3-5 years of Accounting Experience Must have intermediate experience with QuickBooks & Excel BA in Accounting Must have good excel skills. Must be self-motivated. Experience with accounting software and data entry Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Advanced knowledge and experience with spreadsheets Ability to work independently. Analytical skills Must be able to work at HQ Norwalk, CT 3-4 days a week.
