Responsibilities
• Facilitate general ledger month-end close by preparing journal entries• Reconcile inter-company accounts and bank accounts• Facilitate monthly reconciliations and analyses of general ledger asset and liability accounts• Calculate and track rebates• Prepare international VAT/GST returns and state sales and use tax returns• Work on special projects incorporating research/analysis as requested• Prepare financial reports to analyze financial performance and report results to management• Participate in internal and external audits• Conduct balance sheet flux analysis and provide commentary on variances• Assist in the preparation of financial reporting packages• Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules• Collaborate with other departments in finance and business• Handle intercompany balancing and reconciliation• Complete ad hoc analyses and projects
Requirements
• Solid knowledge and experience with accounting standards (GAAP and IFRS)• Attention to detail and analytical skills• Dedication to continuous improvement• Team-building skills• Ability to develop credibility and positive professional relationships• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Flexibility in scheduling• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field• Master's degree or CPA preferred• 3-5 years of multifaceted accounting experience• Advanced knowledge of Excel and MS Office 365• International tax experience (a plus)• Experience with accounting systems (Hyperion, CODA experience a plus)
