Title: Account Manager - Exempt Department: Account Management Reports To: Director of Customer Experience General purpose of Job: To manage specific client relationships and their jobs from the beginning stages through billing. To play an active role in nurturing a positive client/vendor relationship with assigned accounts. To promote our services in order to cross sell or up sell to this established client base. Majority of time spent handling business with established accounts.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Will be introduced to new accounts at an early stage by the "AE" Account Executive to transition the day to day relationship from the AE to the "AM" Account Manager.
* Act as key contact person for the customer.
* Prepare jobs for production including:
- Use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Use of Adobe Acrobat
- Prepare production tickets ( Midnight )
- Prepare Information Systems check sheets ( Visio )
- Managing materials and lists.
- Proficiency in reading a ruler
* Order and verify outside services (lists, print, etc.) when needed.
* Careful tracking of jobs in progress and working with scheduler.
* Wrap-up of jobs including delivery of left-over materials, faxing reports, approval of invoices etc.
* Active, positive representative of Impact Proven Solutions to customers - determining their needs, enhancing relationships, and fostering growth.
* Other duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements: Performance feedback will take place both verbally and written on a day to day as needed basis, formal training upon hire and as needed. Quarterly one on ones with manager. Formal review by manager annually.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and/or five + years related experience.
Language and Math Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to problem solve and evaluate a variety of variables in various situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. This information will be entered into Midnight (Impact's MIS) and presented to production in the form of production tickets.
Physical Demands: Often working on a computer at a desk or walking to locations throughout the building. At times lift up to 40 pounds. There will be high phone usage.
Work Environment: Expectation is that employees will work in office environment with exposure to the production floor. Machinery with moving parts and forklifts are present on the production floor. The noise level is moderate (in office) to loud (in production). Hybrid work from home opportunities available upon request an approval my management.
