Job summary
The Account Executive – Retailers acts as a liaison between Spectrum and our Retail Partner big box retailer portfolioThe role is responsible for maximizing sales, ensuring representation of the Spectrum brand, and protecting the overall customer experienceThe position is also responsible for new business development and managing the implementation and compliance of policies and procedures
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Provide account management for assigned big box retailers, including audits, field visits, training, business reviews, and merchandising• Conduct meetings, trainings, and account reviews with partners to ensure maximum sales and quality standards are met• Collaborate with owners of assigned partners to create/manage growth plans• Coordinate and assist with special events, staffing, merchandising, and sales execution• Forecast and allocate monthly goals to assigned partners• Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and KPI metrics• Prospect new business for quality partners• Provide frequent reports to channel leadership• Travel frequently within the assigned territory• Work retail hours and adjust schedule as needed
Requirements
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English• Sales presentation skills, problem-solving capabilities, and organizational skills• Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills• Ability to work independently• Comfort with Microsoft Office Suite• Flexibility to work retail hours and travel frequently• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license with a safe driving record• Bachelor's degree preferred• 5-7 years of related experience/training or equivalent combination• Bi-lingual a plus• 5+ years of strong sales experience preferred
