Responsibilities:Maintain accurate financial records for multiple propertiesDay to day processing accounting information including Accounts Payable and Accounts ReceivableAccurately process and code invoices to correct GL accounts.Process rent payments, security deposits and owner distributions/contributionsMonthly rent collection oversight and follow up with tenants for past due paymentsCollaborate with the property management team to analyze tenant/owner ledgers, research and resolve questions.Finalize Move Out AccountingCreation of 1099s and owner statement generation.Continually improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (or 3 years of relevant experience).Quick learner who is able to pick up on new systems (Appfolio experience a plus)Previous accounting experience in property management preferred.Team player who can communicate well across all levels of the organization.Positive, proactive work ethic and approach.Customer service approach to duties.Experience in QuickBooks and Appfolio experience is preferredJob Type: Full-time - 2 PositionsPhysical setting:Office
