Job: Wire Harness Assembly Tech Location: Kirkland, WA Responsibilities: Has intermediate knowledge of all areas of the aircraft hydraulic-electrical accessory components. Repair, modify, replace or otherwise perform routine aircraft maintenance on hydraulic-electrical accessory components. Disassemble, inspect and reassemble hydraulic-electrical aircraft accessory components Utilize OEM technical data and Engineering drawings to modify components as required. Test aircraft hydraulic / electrical accessory components Troubleshoot hydraulic / electrical aircraft accessory components Communicate effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels by keeping co-workers and leadership apprised of work progress and difficulties as they arise. Complete job assignments in a timely manner. Complete on-the-job-training (OJT) forms and required reading. Read and interpret manufacturer and airline maintenance manuals, service bulletins, drawings and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair, replacement or modification. Conduct operational tests. Required Experience: Airframe and/or Power plant License and level of skill customarily acquired after two years as a General Mechanic, or Three years of related commercial / military aircraft experience, or Two years of experience as apprentice mechanic working at NTA on commercial accessory components, or Equivalent combination of education and experience Required Education: High School education or equivalent
