Call Michael @ ! Aircraft Structures / Sheet Metal Mechanic JOB OVERVIEW : + Fabrication, modification and repair of sheet metal and structural components.
+ Inspect, fabricate, repair, modify and install aircraft structural components, assemblies and subassemblies
+ Installs, aircraft structural components
+ Corrects discrepancies using information from engineering drawings, or other documents as required
+ Uses manufacturing planning, written instructions, blueprints and other applicable technical data to assemble, install or replace aircraft components
+ Document all aircraft maintenance actions using the required maintenance forms
+ Uses manufacturing shop stamp or test stamp to sign off completed work to include manufacturing
AIRFRAMES : - Civilian and Government Helicopters
SKILLS AND ABILITIES : - Must be able to layout and drill conforming holes, rivet sheet metal, fabricate, modify and repair Aircraft components.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret blue prints, engineering drawing and technical publications.
- Ability to use and maintain various pieces of ground support and test equipment as required.
- The ability to understand and follow instructions and the ability to concentrate is required.
SHIFT : - Multiple shifts available
OT SITUATION : - A possibility but not guaranteed
CONTRACT DETAILS : - Contract to hire, generally hired direct around 18 weeks but exact timeline dictated by attitude & performance
