Responsibilities
• Process and collect resident information for recertification• Determine eligibility for continued occupancy• Process certifications and ensure proper calculation of income, assets, and rent levels• Prepare and distribute recertification notices• Schedule appointments with residents for recertification process• Review recertification schedules and ensure timely processing• Ensure non-compliant residents receive appropriate notices• Assess and maintain accuracy of tenant files• Provide monthly status reports to Director of Compliance• Collaborate on corrective action plans for non-compliant communities
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in affordable & LIHTC multifamily housing properties• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook• Knowledge of LIHTC and HUD regulations• Knowledge of IRS 8823 Guide and HUD Manual 4350.3• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Ability to take charge and ownership of projects• Self-starter and independent worker• Intermediate-advanced knowledge of MS Office and property management software• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills• Veteran Friendly
